Your Legal Doula offers the following services to pregnant and postpartum parents.
We aim to be transparent in our offerings.
If you need basic legal information or legal templates, please check out our “Resources” page. There, you will find free information as well as products such as doula contract templates, “legally-informed” birth plans, and other offerings containing legal information that can help you navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. You don’t need to sign up as a client to access these resources.
If you have a legal issue in Nevada – and you need more help than our other resources can provide – you can sign up as Your Legal Doula’s client. Unlike many law firms, we don’t collect a lump sum of thousands of dollars up front for work we haven’t done yet (sometimes called a “retainer”), and unless we help you with arbitration or a law suit, we don’t work on contingency (meaning, we don’t get paid depending on the outcome of your legal issue). Instead, we’ll work together before you sign up to design a customized legal-assistance package – sometimes called “unbundled legal services.” See below for the many ways we can help, and how much you can expect to pay.
We accept payment via cash, check, Venmo – and via Stripe, where you can pay with a bank account or credit or debit card. Payment via ACH bank transfer – that us, paying via your bank account – is preferred and earns you a small credit (1-2% of the value of your payment) towards future purchaces. Free Consult
We always start our services with a complimentary call or in-person chat. This is designed to get information about your legal issue or issues. From here, we can help design a custom legal solution and suggest next steps (whether with us, another lawyer, or another professional entirely).
Have a specific legal question? Maybe, how to request accommodations at work while pregnant, or how to handle a tough situation with a medical provider? Your Legal Doula offers virtual and in-person visits to help in times like this. You bring your questions, and we discuss solutions. For this service, we charge an hourly fee of $300 (so, if it only takes us 30 minutes to discuss, you pay only $150).

Single-Issue Project
What if you know your question or problem can’t be resolved in a single conversation? That’s when we can work together to create the best arrangement for you. That might look like having me coach you through a situation that takes 2 months to resolve, where we agree on a fee of $1499, or a written project where I draft a board complaint for you for $349. The price will depend on the complexity of your issue, and we clarify what you will pay before we start working together.
Time-Determined Project
What if you just want a lawyer on call during your pregnancy, birth, and/or postpartum to help you navigate any issues that might come up? We can set up a payment plan by the month, starting at $797.
